The Model I1 Electric Guitar

made to be played

We sought out to make a unique object, but also a fine playable musical instrument. Feedback from dozens of real players was put into the design.

Above all the instrument is balanced – the weight sits between the strap points and the neck doesn’t want to fall over like with other “stick” guitars.

Each guitar includes:

 – 22 fret neck on a full 25.5″ scale

 – Dual-action truss rod

 – 42 mm locking nut

 – Bridge tuner with integrated winder tool

 – Dual humbucker pickups

 – Pickup selector (bridge-neck-both)

 – Tone control

 – Volume control

 – Strap buttons

The highly modular design is easily customizable for a fully stripped-down look.

The component dimensions on the I1 are not arbitrary.

Every part fills a specific purpose usually filled, well or badly, by a solid guitar body.

Players of any style should appreciate the shapes, seated or standing, without a lot of extra weight to move around.

Another advantage of the thin-and-light body design is that the air pockets and thin members bring the instrument back to semi-hollow-body levels of tone and control.
